2008 National Electrical Code Update


Keene Community Education is authorized by the State of New Hampshire's Electricians Board to conduct a 15–hour continuing education program for the purpose of complying with the amended rules of the Electrical Code for the State of New Hampshire.

Community Education offers the 2008 update beginning in March, 2008.  To earn an official certificate, participants must attend all five sessions.  Registrants will be notified if any change in the schedule is necessary.  A minimum enrollment of eight (8) is required for each class section; the maximum enrollment is 28 per session.  The cost of the course is $158 per participant and includes the Analysis of Changes workbook.  You are required to bring your 2008 National Electrical Code book, Photo ID and Electricians License to class.

NOTE:  THIS IS THE ONLY SCHEDULE FOR THE 2008 CODE UPDATE.

Classes meet on Monday and Thursday evenings (dates as indicated), from 6 to 9 PM (total of 15 hours), in Room 317 at Keene High School, 43 Arch St., Keene, NH.

March, 2010 will be the final course schedule for the 2008 update.  To reserve your place in any scheduled class, please complete the application (link below) and return it to Community Education with full payment.

Registration Deadline:  One week before class section begins. 

No refunds or transfer of classes after registration deadline.  Anyone wishing to register after this deadline must call the Community Education office at (603)357-0088 to check on space availability.  Refunds requested prior to the registration deadline will be assessed a $10 cancellation fee (per participant).

Full payment must accompany registration form.  Please make checks payable to KEENE SCHOOL DISTRICT and mail to:

You will be automatically enrolled upon receipt of your check unless notified to the contrary.  If you would like a receipt or confirmation, please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your registration.
